View Full Version : Can't Install ICQ onto my EM-500

Heyz
has anyone ever tried to install ICQ for Pocket PC onto Cassiopeia EM-500?
I couldn't install it successfully and a message 'make sure the disk is not full or protected' appears on my PC when I install it onto my EM-500.
The same situation occurs when I install ICQ onto my IPAQ.
Can anyone help me?

Hi Lester, I do not encounter the error as you did, did you run the installation file on your Pocket PC or on your desktop ?

anywayz the installation drops when ICQ is being installed from my desktop to my Pocket PC

Lester, might be problem with your desktop's connection. Is it USB or serial? Try it at a different PC.

it shouldn't be a problem with my USB connection. Otherwise, I shouldn't have been able to install other programs like Pocket Facelift, SuperBomber from my desktop to my EM-500.

Hi Lester, I am not sure what problems you have, however I personally do not have any problems installing ICQ for Pocket PC Beta 1.0 on my Pocket PC.

Could you advise the exact error message and whether it is displayed on the PC or the PPC ?
